On my 82 900ss (40mm dels) I noticed that the fuel lines do not fill when the taps are turned on ie seems like a trickle of fuel flowing to the carbs ?
I've cleaned both taps and both run free any clues why I still get big air gaps in the lines.

I noticed this a few years ago,did not effect running and when the lines cloud over you cannot see it anymore.
