Both are dried out/cracked...74 or thereabouts 36mm Del O's.....any tricks or things I should know? Ive overhauled a lot of carbs but never these beauties...mutt

no worries. Take the cover off, pull them out, put a new gasket against the body then the pump diaphram, slip on the spring and reinstall the cover. I stock all parts for these carbs if you need em.
