I've purchased a Tommaselli L hand switch block for my Pantah. This switch block has a locator pin which would require me to drill a small hole in the clip-ons or grind the pin off.
my current switch block doesn't have a locator pin (and I've never had a problem with the block moving) so I thinking of grinding the pin off. Any words of wisdom before I do this?

Grind it off. Its only for locating at the factory so they are all sitting the same way. Especially since it isn't connected to the throttle, there is nothing that would cause anything to twist it anyways.

Since the Italians are known for their constant use of the horn (Lhand switch), Ducati fitted the pin to prevent twisting.

And indeed, grind that thing away, chances of getting that hole drilled first time on the correct place are about zero.
