G'day finally took my 82 MHR for a shake down run after previous issues with electrical problems only a 100k run though bike did not miss a beat apart from some clutch slippage which i will deal with next oil change (new plates ect) as told the bevels don't perform until above 100klm and i really did notice it,my clutch hand was very sore but that comes with the territory.
I have to thank all the people from bevel heaven forum expessially BEVEL STEVE ! as far as tuning people (say) to me do it by ear,its hard when you are 75% deaf not due to Vtwins ha ha, so i followed Steves carb tuning set up and i can still hear that BAH BAH BAH and constant idle when its right though there is no better sound
The bike had been stored in a poor moist coastal environment before i purchased it but she has been revived to ride not to look at and thats whats motorcycling all about.
