I am from Perth, Western Australia and have had the Bevel Bug for about 2 years now.
It started with my first purchase of a '75 860 GT, that at the time I thought was a GTS as it had all the GTS parts and 860 GTS on the side covers - I'm happy with it anyway!!
Then the bike I really wanted came up, a late '78 900 GTS with Bosch ign, not in very good shape but running and registered. Rode it home and have been undertaking a complete restoration on it since.$$$ I would be grateful to hear from any other GTS owners with regard to the original paint stripe dimensions on the tank.
The 860 GT is ridden regulary and I am keen to ride with some other bevels in the Perth area.
I am looking forward to contributing to this forum as it has been a great source of information for me already!
