I have an early 1966? RC which the DPO has put some oily marks on the face, are these easy to get into ? what is best to use on the face ,a little soap I think? I will try to wash the mechanism and re-lube,very lightly!.

very small screw in the side, probably painted over.
then just unscrew the top
be carefull if it's a veglia :-)
