Fork oil

An easy question for anyone who knows ...
Having drained the fork oil, how do I refill the forks on a Marzocchi (77 SS)? I guess I remove the screw-in allen-headed top nuts but before doing so I wanted to be certain they can be screwed in again easily enough against the pressure of the spring.
I gather it should be 230cc each leg - is that right?
