From Philly...... finally

Post by Pacman »

Just a couple of words to introduce myself. I joined a while ago but I don't think I've ever posted before. It is not a bevel, but it is a Pantah. I've had the 1985 650 elefant for 6-7 years now. It's been in the garqge since I bought it. Changed the belts and regulator, to find out that one of the needles in one of the carbs had been bent by the previous Einstain who worked on it. No wonder it wasn't idling properly.... Also pulled the starting system wiring. I'm sure you aaaall know aaall about Ducati wiring issues. Even the Lucas starting solenoid was sticking. Anyway, had too many bikes back then so put it in the back and glanced at it once in a while. I've wised up with age (just turned 46 ;) ), recently sold everything but the 851 and 900SS SP, so it is now time to bring it back to life. Problem is I can't find the dam wiring diagram that came with the owner's manual.... :*<: :*<: __?__ __?__ But tha's another story... I'll be visiting often.

PS: Maybe by the time I'm 56 I'll own a bevel.... 8)
