Have been scouting around this site for a while now, have 907, but a bevel has aluded me since my 900s2 back in the 80's.
Now however, I have managed to score a very low k's (17 thou) '78 Darmah. Needs a ton of work but looking forward to the challenge.
I havent set eyes on the old girl yet, that will happen in the near future. She is off to Gowanlochs in Sydney for an engine check before heading south to Canberra and a new home.
I expect 12-18 months to get her back up to roadworthy, still, I have the 907 (which is a brilliant bike) and a Bee Em R1150GS to keep me company here...and a Suzi 750 Katana at our Melbourne house to keep me tinkering away until she is ready for her maiden trip.
Plenty of good advice on this forum and plenty of very knowledgeable people out there to assist when I get stuck.
I will try and post some photos at some stage, ....as soon as I can get to see her that is.
