I am in the process of getting my restoration signed off at the CHP as "typical" there are no frame numbers, but i have a new "blank" foil ID tag. I would like to fill this out correctly. Is there any resource or an example to copy for the correct information. They will most likely give it a Blue tag but i want to be close to correct.

I have my original foil...I could photograph it and email it to you so you can see how it should be stamped.

Here is an Ebay listing for the stamps so you can punch your foil.
No affiliation to auction...I just happen so see it.

That would be very helpful if you could e-mail a picture.
I have several sets of stamps as we use then in the shop at work all the time. Once i figure out this site a little more i will post some pictures of the project, it is at powder coat and plating now and ready to go back together this weekend.

just go to harbor freight and pick up a set of 1/8" steel stamps and have at it. Don't try to get things too neat and straight.
