tappet adjustment 860/900 gts

manual says inlet 0.08mm (003 inch) and exhaust 0.12mm (004inch). some say set a little larger i.e. inlet .1mm (004) and exhaust .15mm (006) any thoughts thank you?
Just noticed this......
My factory workshop manual for the 860GT/GTS specifies 0.08 mm intake, 0.12 mm exhaust. The only conflicting recommendation I have ever seen is to reduce the gap somewhat.
Tire pressures give a range from 31.3-32.7 psi for the front, 35.6-38.4 psi for the rear. Tires are 3.50H18 front and 4.00H18 (USA) or 120/90H18 (standard) rear. As far as I know, Borranis were never fitted to GT/GTS models.
