The return spring on my GT750 failed and I am trying to install a new one. But - I can't seem to get this rather Rube Goldberg type contraption back together. Does anyone know of an exploded drawing? I have all of the parts, things were working nicely before the spring failed, I am just unsure of re-assembly sequence.

Doolin - you've probably got it back together again by now but if not I'd suggest replacing the detente spring while you're at it. If it breaks it can result in jumping out of gear. Part no. 0150.49.010.

Thank you in advance.

Andrea - yes it does. It can be a bit tricky getting the spring to lie flat as the spring, spindle and plate are re-assembled.

Steve.
