Hi there - as a collector of classic bikes in Mexico, I have recently been offered what would appear to be a '79 900SS for sale. The bike reportedly runs but, as with most old bikes here, has been modified - re-painted red, fibre glass custom made fuel tank, modified brake cylinders and wrong exhausts. The vendor has no idea about the history of the bike, and has apparently lost interest in restoring / riding it. Can any member give me advice on the availability and cost of fuel tank / exhaust to complete the restoration and a guide to the appropriate value for a bike in this condition?
