Just got the GT and am a little confused as to how the dual petcocks operate as I have never had a bike with two. I am assuming you turn them both on when running? Also assuming the positions on each are identical, meaning off, then open, then reserve?

If they are the original petcocks and installed correctly (they are right and left) forward is off (for both), down is on and to the rear is reserve. Turn them both on.
