New GT owner in Seattle

Post by confusa »

Finally, after 5+ years of looking for a GT I am the proud owner of the bike pictured below. Just picked it up. Has all records going back to 75! Was turned into a cafe at the time as well with an original Don Vesco seat.
Also, anyone else in Seattle?

I was just reading through some of the DIOC newsletters and was looking at issue 18 which has an article about cafe conversion on a GT. Low and behold I look at the picture and that is MY BIKE!!
Apparently belonged to Edwin Specht. Anyone here know him?
