thanks for the complement
Frame off cosmetic & mechanical restoration, modifications as I would have done in 1978, 6600 mile surviver bought from Racine, WI last Sept.
To balance all of the polish & chrome I powder-coated the wheels & re-laced with Stainless spokes by Buchanans Wheel.
Replace the turnsignals with early BMW replicas handlebar mounted.
Headlight shell & chain guard (originally black) painted body color with gastank & side covers excellent local painter Ray Jarrell.
Stock exhaust (mufflers) were replaced by original owner with Dunstall mufflers (British) although they sound fine, they need to be Contis (proper Italian), beautiful set of curved Contis on order.
A great source of parts, Bevel Heaven.
The best Chrome Plater is in Kentucky, Browns Plating Service in Paducah, KY supreme quality & very quick service!
Next I will assist a very good friend with his 1969 Ducati 450 Scrambler.
