Hi Moshe,
1. When you say the CDI, do you mean this?
If yes, then I don't know of any Japanese bike that they were fitted to. However, if you need to get one, then
ACT FAST because there is a pair on eBay now, due to finish soon:
Item # 130348603657
If you miss these, ask again here. Or contact Steve Allen, the owner of this site; or Phil Hitchcock at Road and Race in Australia; or Wolfgang Haerter at Columbia Car and Cycle in Canada; or keep looking out on eBay. But make sure you get the correct one - the last 3 numbers
must be 034, NOT 042.
2. For the regulator, I have heard that you can use the regulator from a number of Japanes bikes from the period, including Honda 250/400, but you need to understand that most of these are for a 3-phase alternator while the Ducati alternator is two phase with a central tap. If you use a Japanese 3 phase regulator you can do so by connecting up only two of the phases, but you should make sure it came from a bike with a 300W system.
Otherwise, fit an Elextrix RR 51 unit
