I've been looking for a Ducati to restore for what seems like ages and finally found the one. Well I say the one, actually the 78 900SS would have been better :)
I have found a complete 78 SD900 Darmah in a barn. The guy i bought it from has owned it for the last 12 years. He took it off the road that winter and unfortunatly it never made it back on the road. It's totally original with 25000km on the clock. I would love to get it sorted for spring 2010. I'll keep you posted. :-D

Ahhhh the barn find. Half your luck. I have these recuring dreams where I run out of petrol on a country road and hike to a farm house to borrow some juice. We walk into the barn and find a green frame and an SFC 750 Laverda leaning against a post covered in hay and chicken droppings. He tells me they are just in the way and I`d do him a favour to get them out of there.
The other dream involves a couple of super models and me getting locked in the KY jelly factory by mistake and would be better told in some other forum............................................................
