Hi Anybody out there know how to remove the stator. I've removed the hold down dogs but the thing doesn't budge

Try heating the cover a bit.The stators can be a pretty snug fit.Also make sure the leads are free to pull through the cover.Some warmth and a firm rap on a wood or other softish surface should make it fall out.

Thanks for the info. After heating it came right out. I'm taking it out because I think it will be easier to solder on the new wires that I have for it.
