Anybody out there know if there is a way to bench test a voltage regulator for a 1981 900 SS. Thanks

Not sure about bench testing. I`ve always tested them on the bike. If they charge they are good, if they don`t they are land fill. I`m sure there must be some test for them, perhaps your friendly auto lecy may be able to help.
