The front discs on my 860 are in need of machining. Has anyone out there had this done or are they just throw away and get some new ones.
The other thing is has anyone had any experience with drilling these discs them selves. I was thinking if I could get them machined, before I do I may as well drill them to lighten them up and give a little extra ventilation. Not too keen on conpromising their strength however

It does not take much to reduce them to undersize, thickness wise,Gowanlocks will be getting some soon,$260 each, thats a lot cheaper

I'm told to make sure you have them rotationaly ground, not just done on a lathe. I have a disk that stated on the edge Min Th 5.5mm. (Minimum thickness, i assume) New ones are a tad over 7mm thick.
