Has anyone any expeience with Marzocchi AG Stradas other than throwing them in the bin?

I am putting Cartridge emulators in the Marzocchi forks on the front of my S2 and respringing it for my weight and was wanting to improve the handling/ride on the rear whilst keeping the AG Stradas.

The current plan is to check the rider & Static sag when I get the bike assembled, spring them for my weight and put some light fork oil (5W) in them to see how they feel.

I have the AG Strada maintenance sheets off the net and they have a small table for different diameter shims for different settings, am guessing that this is for compression only and the rebound is taken by the foot valve.

Any help would be great.

I have just had mine rebuilt and are waiting for them to arrive so I can try then, in the meantime I bought a pair of Ohlins for the rear so will be able to do a back to back comparison

The Ohlins certainly feel like they give a plusher ride

I'll be interested in how your front end performs as I will be doing the same modification as soon as I can afford it

If your keen on keeping the Maz on the rear I hear Race Tec is moving into the classic bike market,maybe you could get them to upspec the Maz internals

Would be interested in how you find your rebuilt rears Kickaha, do you have any info on what they did with them, will post up some info on my fronts when I am back from work and then again when I get it on the road.
