New to this forum. Have 3 Ducati motorcycles. 01-996S, 97-900 SP, 66-250 Monza. Need information on tach drive ratio for the 250. Have basket case bike that I am rebuilding and one of the gears in the tach drive is missing along with the shaft. This is the input shaft from the cam bevel gear. Does anyone know how many teeth are on the gear for this shaft. Output shaft has 12 teeth. I was told this is a 2:1 ratio but this would make this gear either 6 or 24 teeth. 6 teeth will not engage the output shaft and 24 will not fit in the drive. Help!
