Correct battery for 1974GT?

What is the correct battery size and brand for a 1974 750GT? Is brand originality important on these bikes?

Hey Stephen,
Brand originality is probably only important depending on what you are planning to do with the bike. (concours showing etc)
Kick start only models had a Yuasa 12H12A-4A.
If you have an electric start you would need a Yuasa B68-12V 32Ah.

never ever ever use a cheap battery-you will regret it-they cause all types of problems

He's right! Vibration and marginal charging will quickly kill the cheap ones.

really you guys should ALL use sealed AGM batteries on your bikes. I stock em all in the electrical section you will find them
