Veglia guages

I want to re chrome the top trims (the bits that stick out above the dash panel) of my veglia instruments. Does any one know how to remove trims from instrument from body? It looks like they are just pressed on.

The trim rings are crimped over the edge and will most likely be destroyed in removal. I have bought a new one from
http://www.guzzino.com/ to replace the dented one on my NOS gauge and they are perfect. You can buy for Veglia or Smiths, with the glass and seals, or just the ring.
