Are the earlier 6 bolt brake discs as fitted to the Darmah,SS and MHR the same pcd as the later floating discs as fitted to the early to mid nineties 750-900SS models?

I Think you will find that the later discs are 300 or 320mm disc's and they may not fit with the std brake caliper

I'm not planning on using the standard calipers and adaptors are easy to make or buy
