I run the NGK Iridium equivelent of what was in there but one grade hotter. I could`nt honestly say if they are any better performance wise because I changed them over at the same time I replaced the wiring from my ignition stator wiring on my 82 SS. The bike ran heaps better, started easier but I was getting problems from the insulation breaking down on the wiring so how much was due to the wiring and how much was due to the plug I don`t know. My understanding is that you will have small performance gains due to a more favourable flame kernal but their main claim to fame is that they expect 100,000 k`s between plug changes.
