starter issues

over 12 months ago there was a post about a 77 darmah with starter issue. bevhev steve suggested an overhaul of the sterter. Any comments on how to go about it for my 78 DarmahHaven't been able to find info on how to actually disassemble the starter in the manuals etc. I don't know where to start
