I took the headlight out of my 80' 900SS to modify the opening in the fairing and after I put it back together...no headlight or tail light

With the ignition on:
No headlight or tail light, however, I do have a brake light.

With ignition in the park position:
Tail light works.

I'm hoping someone has encountered this and has a specific component for me to look at before I get out the multi meter and start checking things.

If taking it out and puttting it back in broke it. you should do the same thing to fix it!! I would look at anything you might have disconected to remove the head light like, the head light socket or the parking light. Good luck Alan
