How does that idea sounds to you, will it be safe to do this modification?

FWIW - 4 bolt disks have a different offset to 6 bolt disks so if anything before you go ruining your disks by drilling holes in them, put them on the wheel with 1 bolt and check if the spacing is ok for what you suggest and do please let us know.

of course I will chek it.
but as a matter of fact I thought of drillin gthe wheels rather then the discs, in that way if the distance of the holes to the center will be ok I will need to drill less holes

Im thinking of buying discs for the new wheels so that I wont need to modify anything, it will be safer that way.
can anyone tell me if the discs for pantah(6 bolt) will work here? or they have different wheels?

Unfortunately, Pantahs used smaller discs - 260mm rather than 280mm.

so anyone selling 6 bolt brake discs? used will be just fine as long as they are usable

i usually have new cast iron 6 hole rotors in stock [drilled too] but don;t have any presently. I can get more no problem. They are not exactly inexpensive. See my online shop in the brakes section then click ROTORS to see the 4 bolt ones I have both drilled and non drilled to get an idea. Where on the planet are you?

I have seen the discs in the shop and they are somewhat too expensive for me now. I was hoping that somone might have used discs laying around and he could sell them for smaller price

280mm discs are getting to be a PITA to find. Nice to know you've got new ones, btw, Steve.

If you need to get second-hand ones, Hashashan, just be careful to check they are not worn below their limit - 5.8mm.

Unfortunately, I can't help you, but hopefully someone on the Forum can. Otherwise, it's going to be FleaBay and posting messages to all the usual suspects - for example, I see Andrew Jones at Mdina is advertising a used set of 4 bolt discs.

How thick are new ones?

I have a spare set of rotors but I woulsd have to dig them out to see what they are...I think they were for a Pantah but not sure...I will check today. Im in NH USA..

OK just checked, Mine are 260mm drilled 6 bolt. They look alost new,im not sure they were ever used. They are stamped....12 86A BREMBO MIN THICKNESS 5.8 mm Ayone know what they are from?

Pantahs for one, Mike. Think it was all the Pantah range, e.g 500/600/650 SL and TL, but don't quote me ...

Possibly others too, e.g M-G V50/65? Alazurra? Don't know ...

I saw 6mm thick discs on ebay? does that mean that they are nearly dead?
