i always considered the 75 900ss to be the pinnacle-better than the green frame-nicer colour scheme,better finish.better brakes,more power.
the 78 is possibly 2nd-still silver & blue,with ignition and left hand gear change issues sorted out

Hi, Have decided to sell my 1984 900SS. Not sure what a fair price would be. Bike is original, never down, 5000mi. Any advice?
