Hellow everyone my name is Frank I'm 51, a machinist by trade and Abate motorcycle safty instructor. I found this web sight while looking for some parts for my 1978 500 GTL. I've riden for 41 years and still have my first ride, a 1949 cushman motorscooter. At present I only have one Duck the GTL but have had a couple of 250 singles in the past (regrets for selling them). My GTL was a Christmas gift from my wife in 1980 as replacement for an H.D. XLCR that was stolen two days before my 22nd birthday, yeah I've kept her all these years too I know a good thing!
Other motorcycles I have are beside the Ducati & the Cushman are as follows Sears Allstate (Puch) 250, Bultaco 370 Frontera, 125 CZ, 250 Jawa, TWN BDG 250, Husky 350 WXE for ice racing, Montgomry Ward (Benelli) 350 former ice racer not sure yet what it'll be next, Starr motorscooter, a couple of NSU 250 maxes 1 apart, too many 650 Yamaha twins, even more Yamaha 60 Mini Enduros, and my everyday rider 76 Moto Guzzi Convert. other intrests are antique trucks toy trains and building a live steam locomotive. And no they all do'nt run & not finished.

Ahhh Max, you sound a little like me. Lots of different bikes in all different states of repair. I`ve always had the philosophy that motorcycles are a little like beer. They`re all good just some are better than others. Good to see you have your first ride, I still have my second ride, a TM125 Suzuki. Unfortunatley sold my first ride, a Honda Dax, wish I had her back.
If your looking for info on Ducati Parallel twins check out the link below. Lots of interesting stuff by a self confessed parralel twin nut. Enjoy. He seems to be to the the parallel twin crowd what this site is to the V twin mob. Gotta mess with the translator a bit but it`s all good.

Thanks guys, pictures will come as soon as I can pin down my wife or daughter to show me how to load from the camera and send them. I'm glad I can spin wrenches better than use a computer.
