New Bevel boy in town.

Post by xpiotos52 »

Hi to all,
In 1999 I purchased a '77 750ss that had been sitting in a shed for 14 years, forward to Oct 2008 and that same bike breathes its first breath in 23 years, and what sweet cacophony of sound does it cry. The passion of owning Ducatis is now complete (or nearly) for me, just haven't got one of those 4 valve thingys yet!
My collection so far goes like this- started with an '88 750 sport, then purchased the ss; early this year I needed a regular ride so picked up a Multistroodle 03 model, meanwhile the ss was being built, then heard about a complete 860 GTS going REAL cheap, so I bought that to, that resto/ rebuild will commence in 09.
Does this mean I'm a Duke tragic, I haven't got rid of any of 'em, so I guess my collection has just started! My new addiction to bevels started with a mate giving me a ride on his restored Darmah, so he's to blame. :vroom:

Love the photos, but don't you go blaming me. You had the disease long before then.
