yes we do get to ride out here

I recently got the chance to purchase the bike I was looking for.Something old,cool and Ducati.A 1986 Ducati 750 F1 A model.It has 2100 miles on it and everything is original except for the carbs.
I've been riding since I was 15(23 years

)I've been wanting a Duc and this one is perfect!!It is now one of 12 bikes I own right now.
I found the bike in a storage shed,it was there the last 7 years.

Welcome and congrats on the F1 find. They are pretty rare and nice ones are increasing in value every day.And if you are going to use it much 17" wheels off the later SS and Monsters can be adapted so decent tires can be used.

Welcome aboard. What part of Wyoming are you from? Got a buddy over in Thermopolis. Also post a Pic of your F1. Would love to see it.

Cody,Wy about 90 miles north of Thermop.The bike does have some 17" wheels on it now.But I kinda want to go back to stock.The former owners husband raced it down in Colorado years ago.He replaced the front end with a late 90's GSXR front end(I have all the original forks and wheels)

The wheels are Ducati Magnesium.

nice F1 you found. I would keep the front end and 17" wheels as you are going to be able to easily get tires when you need to as-is. And the handling is better as it is set up assuming the forks and shock are sorted out for street riding. I notice the rear cylinder carb is twisted around - I advise you to straighten it up so it is vertical. Have fun with your new bike and thanks for sharing.

That was Montana a few years ago.The only time I passed a parked HP @ 100mph and didn't get pulled over

The former owner put some Mukini slide carbs on it(there disconnected with socks in them)I'm kind wanting the original ones back on it.
