G'Day all,
Just bught an 860GTS with a valve head embeded in the head sideways.
Top of the piston has some interesting engravings in it as a result.
Will be fun to fix it up.

Can anyone tell me if it is true that the standard 860 barrel can be bored to take the 900 pistons.
I am asking becasue local supplier Gowanloch tells me 860 pistons are
like hens teeth.

Appreciate any advice you can provide.
Also anyone out there live in coun try NSW Australia? I'm near Oran ge on the Central Tablelands.

860GTs and the 900s have the same bore and stroke. Why can't you use pistons from another model? My understanding is that the compression ratios are basically the same.
