Mechanic in Florida for a 1980 Darmah?

Can anyone recommend a mechanic on the west coast of Florida. My 1980 Darmah pops (backfires) on deceleration on the left side muffler, I assume it's running rich and may just need a carb adjustment or timing adjustment. I'm too scared to mess with it. It does have the 40mm Dellorto's and the Conti mufflers. Thanks for any help! Russ
