Hi !

Does any one knows if it is possible to mount 650 Cagiva or Pantah cylinders and pistons diam 82 mm on a 350 engine.
I mean without a lot of machining.

Thanks.

Hi.

The crankshaft is the same except for the stroke, so it is strong enough.
By the way, 15 years ago it was possible to buy a ready to mount kit.
With special barrels and pistond diam 82 the 350 became a 540.
That is what I know, the problem is to borrow a pair of 650 barrels an pistons to see if they fit.
You would need as well, bigger valves, the head ports enlarged, 36 mm carburettors and may be adequate camshafts.
On my side I have bought a second hand 650 Elephant, so I'll let you know when I'll have tested.
(I plan to renew the 350 and 650 engines and fit the 650 Elefant engine in the 350 Alazzura frame)

i'v 2 650 cylinders and 2 650 head, if the crankshaft is ok, i think that is possible to put this whit no problem in the 350 base ebcause are ''plug and play'', the rod are equal in all the pantah engine, for the camshafts i know that the 500/600 are the most performance for a road spec..
