Reproduction 750 Sport Sidecovers?

Who makes the best fiberglass ones available? Also, does anyone know the paint code for a 1973 Sport?

TIA, Phil

I know the bike and it is a replica through and through. The way I remember it, when it was delievered to Cycle Tech in Masfield, MA, it was a red GT 750. Saw it with my own eyes. Same with the 750 Sport from the same estate.

Martin,

I am trying to avoid rechroming my original headlight ring, as it has rust through the original chrome. I feel if i do rechrome it, then it will look much better than the headlight bucket and I am really don't want to rehcrome both pieces.

If the price is too silly then I may just go ...

I saw one go on ebay recently for $150.00. I know I can re-chrome the one i have but then it is going to look so much better than the headlight bucket that I will be forced to also re-chrome that. I am trying to avoid that.

I did look at the horns on BH amd didn't think it looked ...

Has anyone used PVL coils from Germany? They are a direct replacement for the stock coils and are supposed to be 3 to 4 times hotter than the stock units. They come in the same 1.5 inch size and slip right into the stock brackets. They can be found around $50/each.

I guess this was an old racers ...

God no!! I picked the 750 GT and the 750 Sport from the original owner!! Haven't heard much good stuff about DB cycles and I have only been hooked into this forum for about a month.

If you take stainless spokes and beadblast them before installing them, they will look about as close to paint as you can get. Use a medium grit glass bead, something about 100 to 140 microns and use about 90psi.
