Loringuy-I'm relatively new to ducati singles, but I was told when My motor fell off the work bench and bent the timing cover housing that the outer cases were all the seme. I bought a narrow case cover from ebay and it fits fine.
YMMV

Sorry to post this so late, I've been away in Porsche land for a bit, but if I'm not mistaken, that's my SSI in the bottom pic. Steve's right, the pics don't do it justice. Soon, the rest of my bike will look as good. All that's left is the engine.

Rebuilding OEM Marzocchi Suspension

Anybody have any good, or bad, experiences with shops rebuilding OEM shock and forks? I tried several of my sources from BMW contacts, and nobody wanted to mess with them. The closest I came was a "we'll look and see" from GP Engineering.

Crankshaft end play problem?

Luck either shined down on me today or rained on my parade. In the process of cleaning my engine (out of the bike, part of a restoration) I pulled the timing cover off to see if it would be easier to polish off the bike. I the process I noticed the end of the crank is moderately scored. The bushing ...

How "correct" do you want to be? Mine is a '69 350, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but a scambler seat is a no brainer. IMO, just about any upolstery shop would have a pretty reasonable selection of "hydes" to choose from and a simple picture should get you just what you need.
On my seat, the only real ...

Painting Chrome Tank- 350 SCR

In a fit of misguided enthusiasm, I stipped all the paint off the gas tank on my 350 SCR, instead of leaving it for a base coat. Now, all the experts I've consulted tell me there's no way to paint chrome successfully. Obviously the factory did a pretty good job of it, the tank was pretty hard to ...

Howdy, Boys.

Hi there. My name is David and I'm in the process of restoring my first Ducati, a 1969 350 Street Scrambler. I'll be hangin' out and pestering all of you old hands with more dumb questions than you can shake a stick at.
When I bought this bike, I thought it was going to be a real challenge, but I'm ...
