Greeting from Southern California

Hey guys,

I am a total beginner in the Ducati game but always loved these and only these bikes. I am not a current owner but found a 1975 350 Desmo that I am in lust with. My question is, where can I find out about current values of these bikes and also a source to check vin numbers and that type of thing.
Thanks in advance for any direction for a total newbie.

350 Desmo's are starting to pull some real money these days, I would mind one myself for the Miss's that way she cam come for a ride when the SS is finished
