I'm now in my 3rd decade of wanting a 900SSD - so it's time. Does anyone have one? A tired one to restore would be best, but willing to consider anything.
I guess they were made from '78 to '80. Has to be a 90SSD, not a SD not an SS.
Thanks,

SSD Darmah
There's one for sale on eBay, item 2473849770 - only problem it's in Australia.
But the seller says, "URGENT SALE. All offers will be considered". So ...
Maybe Phil at Road & Race could ship it for you?

Thanks Craig - that one in Australia looks perfect and exactly what I want .
But - I won't buy one without seeing it first (lesson well-learned a while back) and there's not much chance of seeing it over there so I'll have to pass on it.
Thanks though - if you ever see one for sale in the UK then let me know as I do actually get back there quite often.
thanks again
-Richard

SSD
They come up occasionally in the ads in 'Desmo', the Ducati Owners Club (GB) magazine. I'll keep an eye out...
Incidentally, why the SSD?
Always interested in others opinions. I was offered an SSD by a dealer a few years ago, but ended up with an SS after also trying a MHR.

In reply to your request for a Darmah SS, I am about to put my own SS onto BevelHeaven for sale but having seen your ad for one,you can get a sneak preview by looking on: www.Findit.co.uk/motorbikes/classic/bikes
I am the second owner and the bike has only 7760 miles. The first owner had a Garage business and kept a few vehicles as his own collection.
It is in its original spec including the paintwork. New tyres and battery also a replacement LH indicator stalk in stainless steel (can't tell apart from original RH)
The downside for you is the fact that I am in England.
Any further interest then email me on: [email protected]
Happy `blatting!' (what an exhaust noise!)

Hi, my name is Tony and I have been a bike nut
since '58, interested mainly in Nortons but also Ducatis. Cars have caused me more incidents than bikes! Currently have a TVR V8S. Plus a Boxer cross Staffie dog to keep me fit!
