Seat - Tank Gap 1974 750 GT

Have others had the issue of the Rear tank mounts interfering with the Seat position. Should there be a gap?

yes there *should* be a gap and, when installing your gas tank, since the mounts are slotted you can slide the gas tank forward and tighten to get clearance. that said, quite often there is not enough gap and the posts hit the front of your seat... That's just how things go.
