WTB Smiths 250kmh speedo

Post by GeoffW »

I have the Smiths tacho but would like to find a matching Smiths speedo for my '74 Ducati 750. Anybody out there have one in reasonably good condition? Geoff in Australia.

I have one that needs to be rebuilt, but there is a guy locally that restores Smiths gauges for about $190 USD. Contact me if you are interested at [email protected]

Ha Ha,

Well Kev, if we ever catch up for that drink I still owe you, I'll happily provide a tasting bucket for you. But for me, I just cant find it in my heart to spit out perfectly good wine.

Cheers

As you allude to.... One of mankind's most useless inventions...a wine tasting spittoon! Right up there wih an ashtray on a motorbike and a hip pocket on a singlet.

Tim came to the rescue, thanks Tim I'll look out for the speedo in a month or so once it's restored!

I'll eventually have a pair of working '74 750GT Veglia gauges available (i.e. matching tacho & speedo 150 mph) so if anybody is looking for such a pair then please let me know before I list them up on ebay or some silly thing.
