WTB: CEV Left Handlebar Switch Assembly

Post by tim61 »

Looking for a left switch assembly for my 1977 900SS. Needs to be in good condition. Have a NOS 78 ND switch to offer as trade if interested.
Thanks!

Hello Tim

I have got a couple of those switches if they are the CEV ones you are after...

Let me know if you haven't sorted it out by now.

Still looking for one. To be clear, this is the switch pod that does the turn signals and high beam.
Thanks,
Tim

Still looking for a switch. The seller from Australia on Ebay ended the auction early, so I never had the chance of paying too much there...which I was ready to do!!!

Thanks!

Try Ian Gowanloch as I have bought several from him in the recent past. He can be found on eBay as "italsparesducati" or email him directly at [email protected]. He also has the bracket to attach the CEV switch to the clipons.

There are two types of CEV switchblocks (not including those on the parallel twins) one with the word "LIGHTS" embossed in white and one without. I reckon you'll want one without.

I didn't realize there were 2 versions of that switch until Jod contacted me about a couple of them he had. Seems the Assie/Ebay switch was the "lights" version, so I am glad I didn't score that one after all!

Jod sold me a really nice "no lights" switch yesterday, so this portion of my parts search/beg is done. Thanks Jod!!!! Bevelheads to the rescue again! -?-

I now have an NOS ND switch with the red letters, like my 78 Darmah, available. If anyone is searching, send me a PM!

Thanks!

Good news story there!

Just as a matter of interest, as an original 78 darmah owner since 1980, and having seen many other Aus ones of the period - the ND switches as installed on 77 and 78 Aus darmahs were exactly the same as the red/orange lettering ones - but with white lettering.
