Hi All
Just thought I'd better introduce myself here, I've been suffering with a Ducati fetish for long time now, amongst others I've had '90s Supersports and and an ST4, my current toy is an '89 851 which (almost by accident) ended up being a kind of a corse replica. It took me 2 years just to find all the parts.
I recently snapped up a Darmah frame, tank and ducktail seat base for a decent price and (at risk of upsetting the purists!) my plan is to build a bike with '80s looks but more modern running gear. I have a belt-driven 900SS engine in the garage and various usd forks to choose from, I'm also going to use a later swingarm but I want to keep the twin shocks. We'll see how it goes.
I'm looking for a seat/saddle if anyone can help? I'll post a wanted ad.
Anyway, that's me!
