What to do when your Duc is at the Doc

Post by animosity »

Greetings all,

I've recently completed my 860GT project and sent it off to Belt & Bevel (Grant Fuller) for a thorough tune. As I've now got nothing to tinker with, I thought I'd use the time to paint up a matching helmet for the new metal flake paint on the 860.

As it happens, I design helmets for an Australian Company (http://www.RHOK.com.au), so getting a spiffy new carbon fibre shell to paint was a good way to start. Now that it's done, the shell will be sent back to the factory for a final polish and fitout.

Here's the 860GT in its new paint.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out as I'm far from a painter; just a designer.

Cheers!
