As mentioned in a couple other posts, I'm going to put a Ducati engine in a Maico chassis. Did this once before. First time I eliminated double down tubes clear back to the lower rear Ducati engine mount. This required a lot of fabricating of new footpeg mounts etc. This time I'd like to keep the lower frame rails, but that will block the drain plug/oil filter.
Not much interested in pulling the engine every time I need to change the oil.
Has anyone plumbed a single for remote oil filter? If so, I'd sure be interested in the modifications. This might allow me to cut the filter off the drain plug, giving me room to remove the plug to drain oil. Better filtration would be a desireable side benefit!
Thanks,
Jon
