Float Levels PHF30

So my bike has always run rich.

I have recently read that the needle valve should not be compressed at all when taking the measurement.
I have always taken the measurement with the floats resting on the valve, this could explain a few things.

So I should be using figure 13?

Yes, Bern: carb as on the left, i.e. intake resting on the table.

And to make life easier:

Make yourself up a little 'Go-No go' gauge like the one in the photo below. Takes minutes, doesn't need to be anything complicated. But it does make measuring the 18mm much, much easier ...

Looks like they sell the gauges here too. Easy enough to make though.
