250 YELLOW DESMO 1974 CARB TO SUIT TUNED MOTOR.

Hi, Ness + Steve here, we have recently purchased a '74 250 Desmo, the head has been gas flowed and ported and we are looking for anybody with info or experiance on fitting and running 32/34mm Mikuni VM type carb or 32mm Amal. We need jet sizes, slide and needle sizes. The bike (Bertie) has been fitted with a 30mm Amal, but the head has been ported and flowed for a 32mm carb. Mez porting goes for 33mm smooth bore Amal, but this is to get around British classic racing club rules, Bertie is intended for fast road use and streetablity. Can anybody help. Bertie is also fitted with a straight through s/steel conti type exhaust system, but other than that all pretty standard. We would be very grateful for any help.
