I have read the post about tyres for our bevels. I know the brands such as Avon, Michelin or Metzeler, but I´d like to know the measures of tyres that i need for my Darmah SD

Tires sizes for a Darmah
Hi
From the owner's handbook: Front, 3,50 H18. Rear, 4,25/85 V18
Putting these old inch sizes into the current metric sytem:
Front 100/90
Rear 120/90
(Btw, don't forget you can go to Steve's site: http://www.bevelheaven.com/index2.html and look under Manuals Index, Darmah for this kind of info.)
Ciao

P.s. Do NOT buy Metzelers if you ride in the wet!

tyres
Hey guys , I need to update that - what I wrote so long ago was actually the size tyres I used on MY Darmah, but it has non stock wheels, which are wider than stock size etc.
100/90 18 Front
120/80 18 rear or probably better would be 120/90 18 rear
100/90 18 Front
120/80 18 rear or probably better would be 120/90 18 rear

New Michelin vintage tire
Michelin has just come out with a new bias ply vintage-sized tire called the M45.
I picked up a front tire for my GTL, in the correct 3.25-S-18 size.
This tire was JUST released, so many (most) retailers won't have it yet. It is a general purpose "urban/cruiser" type tire. It looks good, and it seems to ride very well.
The 3.25x18" tire is a "59-S" weight/speed rating. 59 is about 500
lbs, so ignore the website's nonsense about "50 to 250 cc bikes". I don't know what they were thinking when they put that. The original Pirellis on the GTL had a weight spec of 55, so 59 is more than adequate.
Although, the speed spec is S, not H or V. S is a max of 112 mph, H spec is 130 mph. If you are going over 100 mph on your Darmah, then God bless you.
